After completing his college studies in print journalism, Davila LeBlanc quickly found himself working the comedy circuits of Montreal as both a writer and a performer. It was during these days on the road that he would co-create and sell the children's comedy series "The League of Super Evil." This was to be his first foray into the world of television production and would not be his last.
In 2013, after having worked on several other shows, Davila took the year off to write his first novel: "Dark Tansmissions". It was published by Harper Collins two years later along with the follow up: "Syndicate's Pawns."
In December of 2016 his first feature-length screenplay, a comedy horror film: "Deadshack" was filmed and produced in British Columbia and was released to critical acclaim in July 2017.
Since 2015 Davila and his wife Jessie have been also working as shared-living providers for their brother Abe, a man with autism and cerebral palsy. He has found this new phase in his life to be immensely satisfying.
Davila is an avid fan of the occult, magic, science-fiction, fantasy and comic books. He hopes to add his own voice to the well of inspiration from which he has drawn.
He is an accomplished author, a loving husband/partner and gifted story-teller.
Davila currently resides in Stockton Springs, Maine, where he works on several other projects.
